SeaCasas Boutique Creates Unique Flagler Beach Experience
Just a block and a half from the coral sands of Flagler Beach on South Second Street, SeaCasas gifts and art boutique is a welcoming place filled with delightful treasures.
“I wanted to create an inviting space where people could feel at home and discover unique treasures or hand-crafted art, hand-blown glass, jewelry, décor or rare fun items,” says Brenda de Treville, creator and owner of SeaCasas.
Whether it is the custom hand-blown glass jellyfish chandeliers; handmade jewelry by internationally renown Charles Albert, Designs by Lisa Lee or Janet Edin; custom art by Bill Markert, Mark Frankenburg, Debbie Boyd and photography by award-winning Harriet Blum, Vicki Payne, Lori Vetter or David Bowers, to name of few, both locals and seasonal visitors alike return to SeaCasas.
“We have something new every week in SeaCasas,” confirms de Treville. “It is a joy to see so many friends coming back into the boutique over and over to find a gift or that special item for their homes. And there’s a story behind everything in the store which makes it fun.”
SeaCasas is full of color, light and aromas to touch all the senses. And de Treville and her team are happy to help guests find just the right piece to decorate the home, create a memory to take home from their Flagler Beach visit or enjoy the visitors who come in to look.
“It’s amazing the number of persons who return home and call or email about an item they either purchased or saw in our boutique and want to order more. This week I had a business owner in Ft. Lauderdale call regarding our handmade SeaCasas all-natural oil soaps. He owns a shipping company, and a client had gone into his store to ship some of our soaps she had purchased during her visit to Flagler Beach to her daughter. He loved the soaps so much that he called and ordered a half dozen for himself,” de Treville added.
The path to opening her own boutique comes after such career stints as Kennedy Space Center, Walt Disney World, international advertising and marketing companies, and even traditional retail early on while putting herself through college.
“SeaCasas is a dream setting for my love of art and design, and Flagler Beach was the place I wanted to make it happen,” de Treville said. “As a Florida native, I knew this was home and each day is so special coming into the boutique.”
